Northern tier, Hwy 20, washington, beware

Dont mean to scare anyone, but just a heads up.  Sherman pass, on Hwy 20, between Colville and Republic has a 14mi construction zone that consumes the top of the pass.  Its not bad yet, but Im sure it will get hectic.  Feel free to contact me on alternate routes, or advice of any kind.  Im also the only bike shop between Sandpoint ID, and Omak Wa.  Have a good time.  Craig@ Pedalworks, 509-863-3283, or email pedalworks2007@yahoo.com.

Every time I have come upon a torn up (construction job) stretch of highway the flag person has either waved me through after the cars or called for a girl (it's always a girl) in a pickup to carry me and my bike through. Apparently they can't legally refuse a bicyclist passage if motor vehicles are allowed through.
