Hey friends, has anyone out there been over hwy 20 in British Columbia between Bella Coola and Williams Lake? I think I read that it was paved (or mostly paved).  How was it?

Although I have not ridden that specific section, I did consider it.  You can find out all of the details of that section by finding a copy of The Milepost at your local library.  It details every mile of road in Alaska and British Columbia.

As I remember, a fair amount is paved.  A fair amount is also unpaved - especially the steep sections.  There are some severe climbs and descents and not much in the way of camping through that area.  I also seem to recall that the bear activity is quite high.

It looks like a ride that would be challenging and worthwhile doing though.

Good Luck...

I don't know anything about it.
