« on: April 11, 2009, 01:52:40 pm »

It's Fred.  My reason of going up towards Erie is gone so I'm looking for a route from Pittsburg to Sandusky and with the wealth of knowledge out there I'm sure there must be someone that has information on this rt. I'm waiting for a reply from one person any idea's?

      Thank You, Fred

Hey Fred,

Depending on how much time you have, there are some ACA routes that would get you to Sandusky from Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh Spur to Northern Tier, and then a quick jump up from Huron to Sandusky on the Lake Erie Connector).

Whatever you end up doing, just make sure to set aside some time for Cedar Point.

There is a published map by an ACA member that connects Pittsburgh and Cleveland by a more direct route than going north to Erie. Once you get to Cleveland you can use the Northern Tier Route section 9 map. ACA sells the map in the online store: http://www.adventurecycling.org/store/index.cfm/product/242_27/the-clevelandpittsburgh-connector.cfm
