In 1996, June Curry's cousin-in-law, Bev Haven, published a book of June's anecdotes entitled "The Cookie Lady of Afton, Virginia".  The book is currently out of print, but the author has agreed to allow it to be published on the web.

Many thanks for providing that link. It was wonderful to be able to read the history of June and her family; their kind assistance to so very many cyclists; and of the area as well.
