Northern Tier - Hingham, MT

Did Northern Tier in 2007.  Watch out if camping in the town park in Hingham, MT.  It is a great little park, lovely green grass in the middle of nothing.  The nice folks at the only resturant in town pointed us to it.  The catch is that they failed to mention that the automatic sprinkler system pops up and goes into action at 4:00 a.m.  We were pretty sure that the good folks of Hingham keep score on how many cyclists get the wake up call. Be suspicious of any green grass in much of the west.  It is usually green because there are sprinklers.  We never got caught by sprinklers on the TA, but had a couple near misses where we were just out of range of the sprinklers.
