Gps waypoint management

I have a Magellan Meridian Gold with the Mapsend Streets and Destinations CD's for Canada and the USA.  I have the files downloaded from the AC sight for the Northern Tier.  I need some kind soul to guide me through the process of actually getting the files to a workable form on the unit.

Hear, hear! And do it HERE! I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the routes to come up in my DeLorme Topo USA 5.0 I can get stuff between my Magellan 315 and the PC, but not from the AC files to the map program.

Ride safe,
Hans

Hi Ronnie. The GPS Data User Guide has a chapter about working the waypoints and routes with Mapsend. There's a link to the Guide near the bottom of the page where you got the files: http://www.adventurecycling.org/routes/gps.cfm

If that does not answer your questions, send me an email (fhiltz at yahoo dot com) and I'll put you in touch with a Mapsend user who has done it.

Hans, we need to find a file format that Delorme can import. The AC data come in three formats: Garmin MapSource, OziExplorer, and GPX. The free G7ToWin program, described in the the GPS Data User Guide, can convert OziExplorer to Delorme Street Atlas versions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Will Delorme Topo import any of these?
