Hi Paul, I see you are checking in from the Northern Tier ride. Somewhere in North Dakota by now? I'm enjoying your blog (fond memories) and would like to hear how the GPS is working--or not working--either here or in the blog.

Regards,

Fred

Hi Fred. I finished the Northern Tire Expedition last week, and am back home again in Indiana. I got my Garmin  76C GPS for a trip along the east coast (550 miles) last year, and of course used it again this summer. I'll never again tour without it, even though it had some rough spots. When I find time, I'll write a summary of my experience with the GPS, and post it on this forum.

BTW, I was amazed at how many 'hits' I got on my blog - about 1,000! Glad you enjoyed it.
