Cross Reference Between Paper Maps and GPS
« on: June 11, 2008, 01:46:34 am »
I can not seem to get the connection between the paper maps and the Garmin Inserted Route Names. The maps on the transamerica, have names like section 10, map 124. The garmin inserted names look like J08870. I read the instructions on the site, but it does not seem to map.

P.S. We are loading up the gps and leaving tommorrow, so if there is a cross reference document somewhere we could pickup on the road that would be great. No time to relabel all the route names in the gps. Or better yet, some logic to explain the connection would be great.

Thank you.

Fred
