I was looking for some good web sites to order gear like brake pads, chains, peddles, etc...I am in Newfoundland Canada so a Canadian distributer would be great.  My wife and I are avid bikers and I take care of all the maintence.

Mountain Equipment co-op has a decent selection of the basic bike stuff-www.mec.ca. I think www.bikeroom.com is also a Canadian based site.

howdy-i live in alaska, and can totally emphasize with the isolation, and outrageous(or nonexistant)shipping choices/policies.
