frame bag

I'm looking for a frame bag that fits on the inside of the main triangle of the bike.  I've seen the little triangular shaped  bags that fit under the top tube and seat tube but was looking for something a bit larger that hung under the top tube and went the lenth of it from the seat tube to the head tube.  I've seen a cyclist with this type of bag but have searched the web and found nothing.  Any suggestions?

Dan. I've never seen what you are looking for. I have one of the little triangular shaped  bags that fits under the top tube on my commuter. It holds a spare tube, cable lock, and a rain cape, with no room to spare. I got it from Nashbar. I don't use it for touring because it would be in the way of my water bottles.

Unfortunately, frame bags have become pretty scarce since the early 90's. Companies that still make them, like Jandd, offer versions like this one and this one which are dramaticly smaller than the original frame packs which took up most, if not all, of the diamond.

Velocipac is an old brand that I still see on ebay from time to time. Speaking of which, an ebay search for 'frame bag' yields some results, though again you my find these a little smaller than what you had in mind.

Happy hunting!

Dan,

I have what you are describing. Let me see if I can put my hands on it.
