Hello, I'm new to this forum, so forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere.

Has anybody had experience--good or bad--with Rohloff hubs? I'm planning to get a new go-anywhere bike, capable of loaded touring, and I like the advertised gearing range for the Rohloff. Another plus for me, an admitted technophobe, is the lack of derailleurs to fix and adjust. Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

Go over to the St. John Street Cycles website, www.SJSCycles.com, I think.

They sell Rohloff hubs.  They also have a forum where the Rohloff hub is discussed frequently.  I would say most any question you have has already been covered on that forum.
