Facilities/Bike Shops in Anacortes

I'm starting my Northern Tier trip next week. I'm flying from Europe into Seattle on Saturday night and starting the route on the Monday.

I have a few final bits and pieces to buy - cable lock, stove fuel, US phone charger etc ( things that arent convenient to carry over).

Will i be able to find/buy these in Anacortes or should I get them in Seattle?

Can anybody advise me whats the best way to get to Anacortes?... and are the stores open on the SUnday.

The cable lock and phone charger should be available in any Wal-Mart here unless you need have a very unusual phone.  Stove fuel will likely only be available in outdoor supply shops.  REI in Seattle is almost sure to have what ever cartridge you need but an e-mail to them would be worth it to be sure.

I recommend a shuttle bus from the SeaTac airport to Anacortes. I stayed at the San Juan Motel, in downtown Anacortes for two nights before starting my trip. The shuttle took me right to the motel.

There are several stores, including the Skagit Cycle Center that are fairly close to this motel, but I don't know if they are open Sunday. Anacortes is a tourist town, so I expect most stores would be open. Assuming you are buying white gas for your stove, you can buy that at any sporting goods or hardware store. In any event, I would not buy them in Seattle, because then you are adding a trip from the airport to a store, and back to the airport to catch the shuttle.

The phone charger might be a problem, since there are so many plug styles. I once had to buy a new charger, and had to buy it via the Internet because my model had been discontinued.

I assume the stove fuel you need is NOT white gas but pressurized butane or butane/propane cannisters.  These will only be available in outdoor shops. Check for such stores in Anacortes too.
