new trailer for kid
« on: June 20, 2009, 09:54:02 pm »
I've had a Weehoo trailer for over a week and have ridden more with my 6 year old than I ever have.  We rode up a 30degree incline and actually made it - good thing because I don't know how I would have bailed out.  My son can actually push me at 12mph while I stop pedaling.  Just rode the mineral belt trail in Leadville.  The last climb back to town was a bugger.  I made the loop in almost the same time as I had when I rode it alone.  The trailer is new so try googling "weehoo bicycle trailer" to find them.

That's a 50% grade, which is a lot steeper than even Fargo Street in Los Angeles.  (%grade is the tangent of the angle, or rise over run, so 45degrees = 100%.)

The OP does sound like spam, I always hate it when someone's first post is about a product. But I've seen this trailer discussed on another bike forum and if these had been around 5 years ago, I probably would have bought one for my son to use.
