Grand Canyon Connector Bike Route

My riding friend and I are dreaming of taking the Grand Canyon Connector route from Cedar City to Tempe, just exactly following the A C map in either late spring or early fall. We plan to do the ride in 7 days. We would love to hear anybodies experience with this ride and any weather we should be aware of. We are not experienced with bike touring.

Hi Vicky,
We rode this route last May, and we liked it. However, I preferred the Western Express route from Cedar City to the Capitol Reef National Park (along the Highway 12 in Utah). Please check out my travel journal for more info:

I really enjoyed that link!  It makes me want to start planning a trip there soon, but alas it will be a while until I have enough leave saved up again since I used it all on this summer's tour
