stoves in New Zealand

Is it necessary to bring a stove to New Zealand? We are going on an extended tours, and as we are two women we will not be camping on the side of the road. It seems that most of the motor camps have stoves. Any info would be appreciated

I brought one to the SI of NZ a couple of years ago, and in 7 weeks of touring used it only 2 times, both in DOC campgrounds.  If you are staying in holiday parks, don't bother, there's a kitchen 99% of the time.  DO bring utensils and a pot or pan, plate, cup, etc, those are only provided in a few of the kitchens.

Have a fabulous tour!

P.S. in New Zealand, Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about (you'll see....)

You wont need a stove as virtually every motor camp has a kitchen area with burners
