Copies of photos from latest Adventure Cycling magazine?
« on: February 06, 2009, 12:25:04 am »
I'm totally taken by the photos from the latest magazine of Frank Lenz, especially the title page.  Is there any way to get copies or high quality jpg's of these pictures?  The sepia tone, cool bike, old gear, I love it.  A wonderful and sad story about that young man.  Sad to say, the Middle East is still pretty sketchy place to ride.  So little has changed in a hundred years.

Thanks!

Scott

Hey Scott,

I looked into this situation for you and this is what I found out:

The photographs used in the story “The Last Ride of Frank Lenz,” published in the January 2009 issue of Adventure Cyclist were donated to Adventure Cycling Association by descendants of Frank Lenz and are not authorized for any other use. If you are interested in obtaining permission to use these photos, please contact Adventure Cycling’s Publications Director Mike Deme at 406-721-1776 x 222 or editor AT adventurecycling.org.

I hope this helps.

.Jennifer.
