Into My Ride

Hey bicyclists! Just thought I'd share with the group that I am tackling the ride across the country with the Western Express and the TransAmerica maps.  Started in San Francisco, and am writing now from Cedar City, UT.  I will continue riding until I reach Washington, DC on the 30th of this month.

It's been a crazy challenge so far, with weather extremes that got me stuck in the mountains (Placerville to Lake Tahoe) and even out in the middle of nowhere (Ely, NV); and I have been forced to hop a car for a couple portions, just to get through (I HAVE to return on the 30th, that's why I did not just wait it out).
