The Memorial Bridge over the Piscataqua River between Kittery, ME and Portsmouth, NH is under construction and will be closed until July 2013. Bicycles are not allowed on the two remaining bridges closest to the Memorial Bridge. A shuttle bus is running daily from 5 AM to 1 AM seven days a week and can accommodate bicycles. The website says nothing about recumbents so if you are riding one you should go the contact information on the website and ask if they can accommodate your bike.
