Accomodation suggestion for Calgary

Hi, my partner and I are coming over to ride the GDMBR from New Zealand. We are flying into Calgary. We are planning on staying for a couple of nights there before heading off on our adventure.
Can anyone suggest a nice campground or other accomodation in Calgary? We need somewhere that we can assemble our bikes etc.
Also can anyone help with a route from Calgary to Banff? (Will also post this in route discussion)
