I have a Cannondale T900 for sale for $549.  Yes, it's older, but it's in like new condition and the price is right.  See specs below.

Immaculate condition, low miles, very well maintained. This American made Cannondale frame has a long touring pedigree. It is tough (lifetime warranty), efficient, and the long wheel base rides like a dream. If you’ve been thinking about doing some self-supported touring, this bike is a very good deal. Alternatively, it would also make an excellent commuter bike.
