Wise River to Butte?

This worked so well the last time I thought I would try it again.

Looking for a decent route from Wise River, MT to Butte, MT.  I have mapped out MT 43 to the I-15 frontage road to either Exit 111 or 116 of I-15 then I-15 to Exit 119, then German Gulch to Silverbow to Nissler to Grizzly Trail towards the center of town.  About 40 milesw total to the Butte KOA.  Wondering whether there is an alternative that might be more scenic than I-15.  Can't seem to find through roads using Google Maps.
