TransAm Section 10 2009

On map panel 126, there is a bridge being rebuilt across Harrington Lake. It will likely be closed for the next six months. A suggested detour follows.

Traveling EASTBOUND, from Harrodsburg, ride S. on US 127 to Danville, then SE on US 150, then E. on SR 52 through Lancaster to SR 21 and continue E. into Berea. This detour is approximately 44 miles. Services should be similar to the established route. Reverse route to travel WESTBOUND.

I just received word from the Kentucky DOT that the maintenance repair project on this bridge is just about finished. In the meantime, it is open to traffic.

I hope this helps.
