Advice on selling Trek 720

I have an older, but decent condition Trek 720. Awesome touring bike, but I switched long ago to riding recumbents. Looking for advice on what to charge, how much upgrade to do to sell (tires, cables, brakes, etc.)

i,m new so i wont say for sure.  But im looking for a bike to do a tour next year,  with low miles on gears cogs etc, my inseam is 31 im 5ft 10 with long arm reach but kinda short on legs  and do ya ship???   email is ronmarcum@ymail.com   Thanks Ron

The older 720s are very well-regarded touring frames. But, the components can be outdated for many people's tastes (5/6 speed with older-spec 126mm rear spacing). If I were selling it I would put it on eBay and let the market decide (put a link or a heads-up on these boards to let people know about the auction). You can also search completed auctions on eBay to get a feel for what they go for.

So, what year 720 and what frame size?

I would sell as is.  Some want to restore to original specs while others just want the frame and build with their idea of the perfect setup.

They are truly a great touring frame and should make some one very happy.
