I am planning to do a week long ride/loop in the Texas Hill Country this fall. I am interested in routing ifo. Maybe someone here has been on the ACA Hill Country event and could share that route. Thanks

I have been there, almost purchased an airplane in Kerrville.  I have not bicycle toured "the Hill Country," but this site might help www.trails.com Type in Hill Country or Kerrville, Texas. Another good site is www.hcbtc.org/ Hill Country Bicycle Touring Club. I believe there is a contact person, Amanda, that you can call. Her number is on their website. I hope this helps. Bob  :)

My husband and I spent about two weeks in the hill country this spring - perfect, sunny weather - very windy - great temps.  We camped mainly in Fredericksburg and did day rides.  We also spent some time near Lost Maples State rec area.  We biked a 79 mile loop Leaky-Campwood-Barksdale.  Willow City Loop is outstanding, also near Fredericksburg.  Enchanted Rock area is a lot of fun, too.  Lots of great back roads.  We avoided the highways.
