Contact Andy Blance at SJS Ccles in England. He and his life partner have recently come back from there and have done many trips to Chile. He also designed some of the Thorn Expedition bicycles. He is a very nice guy. You can google Thorn and obtain his info.

It is SJS Cycles. Thorn is their bicycle brand name. They make a killer expedition bike, with a Rohloff 14 speed internal rear hub. If you don't already have one, you should consider one, if you are planning a trip to Chile,  roads are at a premium.
