BIKE TRIP FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO FLORIDA
« on: June 07, 2010, 11:53:26 pm »
Hi,
I am leaving from Pennsylvania on the Atlantic Coast route and headed to St Augustine Fla. I'm going alone at a simple pace (60 miles a day). Also, I put a real big wheel on the back of my bike and a small one in front. Physics tell me it will be downhill all the way. I should be in Fla in about 28 days. Anyone travelling in that direction? Anyone care to do a leg or two? Do tell.

LOL, physics is one thing, geography is another. Climatology also tells me that hills won't be your biggest concern on this route :) have a great ride!

When you cross the Susquehanna River turn your head upside down.  That way, at least it won't look like you are going up hill.

You could try going east to west and let the earth turn underneath you - never have to peddle again.  Putting my coat on now and leaving  ???

Eric
if you really have a bike like you suggest - stick a pic on here as would love to see it.  MMMM I guess non of the replies have been much help, but then from your other thread I figure you must be getting bored in the evening and this was your "message in a bottle"
Take it easy & be safe
