SOLD: Touring Frame with Everything
« on: June 22, 2010, 10:55:51 am »
Everything you want in a touring frame that is responsive enough to also be your go-fast bike. 73 Cilo, Reynolds 531 double-butted throughout, including forks and stays. Repainted by famed framebuilder Matt Assenmacher. Silver with chrome panels on headtube and fork crown and legs. Campagnolo dropouts with eyelets. 58cm top to center. Includes Stronglight roller bearing headset. Paint condition rated 8.5-9 out of 10; you have to be very close to see imperfections. Touch-up paint included. Frame is Cilo's top of the line. Painting, adding braze-ons, aligning to framebuilder's standards, installing headset, etc, cost me over $800 in addition to cost of frame. Price reduced to $350.

Braze-ons:
Shifters
Three water bottle cages
Pump peg
Chain rest
Front low rider rack
Rear rack
Kickstand
Spare spokes
Fender (See second paragraph under "Fenders", http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/berthoud.asp) Facilitates an extraordinarily secure and neat fender installation.
Brake cable
Derailleur cable

Photos on request.
