Simple question: Bottle racks?

Anyone know if Klean Kanteen (or ayone else) makes racks for their steel water bottles? They are just a tad smaller that the regular 20-24 oz. bottle, and rough roads like we were riding last week (on the L&C in SD) they rattle around a lot!

I've been using them for a couple of years.  There are 2 disadvantages.  !) It's harder to get a drink while on the fly, because they don't compress, of course.  2) The cages are plastic, and they break.  I've broken 2 of them, and paid $10 each to replace them.  I carry my bike laying on its side in the back of my Corolla.  If the bottles are full, the cages break while driving because they are weak in the sideways direction, so now I don't put the bottles in the cages until I get to the start of the ride.  I do still use them, because I don't reallhy care for the taste of plastic.

I have two these cages on my bicycle and they allow for two 27oz Kleen Canteens to be used, without banging them on the frame every time I try to pull the bottle out of the cage.

Regarding the difficulty in getting a drink, try the new Sport Cap 2.0.  It lets out a torrent of water.

Not to change the subject but rather to address what might be behind the question--
The big deal recently has been with bisphenol-A coming out of the plastic into your drink.  Our plastic water bottles have recycling code 4 on the bottom, which, according to  Wikipedia, does not have bisphenol A in it.  I suspect that's the case with most cycling water bottles.

But all plastic water bottles still taste bad, especially after sitting in the sun for a few hours.  The water in stainless bottles still tastes good to me, even a day or two later.  I suspect that it has something to do in part with the naturally antimicrobial effect of stainless steel (although still not quite as good as copper).

Not Nalgene, which is so inert that chemical labware is often made from it. We switched to it. One downside: it is hard to squeeze, so getting a big mouthful in a hurry is difficult.

Tried that. Still rattles.

If the plastic ones are so fragile, has anyone tried steel bottles with rubber "buttons" (I don't know what they would really be called.) on the bracket arms?

Not Nalgene, which is so inert that chemical labware is often made from it. We switched to it. One downside: it is hard to squeeze, so getting a big mouthful in a hurry is difficult.

I tried Nalgene, but water in Nalgene still starts to go foul after a little while in the sun.  Judging by the flavor, it seems like microbial action.

I try to keep my bike in an upright position and my KK cages continue to support my bottles as expected. I don't think they're fragile.
