On the WA Parks Map I have (BC-2501-08), there is no Youmans Rd.. I think you mean E. Hoquiam Rd.. Google maps lists it with both names. I rode it last year but darned if I can remember how it is signed. From the Google map view, it looks like it is signed as E. Hoquiam Rd..

There is a possible alternate that involves E. Hoquiam Rd. and avoids some of 101. While easy on the CW direction, it is a little more complicated for the CCW direction. Worth checking out as we rode E. Hoquiam Rd. last year to avoid 101 into Hoquiam.

HTH,
Craig

We received a notice from a cyclist on the road that the road name is Youmans Rd. so we changed it on the newest map, BC-2501-10. The change is noted on the addenda for BC-2501-08. Maybe it's signed differently at either end? We'll have to keep an ear out for future updates.

Going clockwise it is possible to rejoin the ACA route from Aberdeen and avoid a chunk of Hwy 101. Take Wishkah Rd north from Aberdeen which joins the route at the Wishkah Rd / Winoochie Wishkah Rd junction where you take a left. On map 10 this is the road that runs along Wishkah River. It's a rolling gradual climb on a quiet road. Head north from Aberdeen on N B St. and you'll find it. We did it last month.
