1000 km thru Peninsula Malaysia
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:20:40 pm »
Hi,

me and a friend would be pedalling through Peninsula Malaysia from Oct 29th 2010, starting from the southern tip of Penggarang. We would be credit card touring and looking for cheap hostels, resorts or home stay as we go along the east coast of Malaysia. We have no training and looking to do it on a relaxed paced. Any adventure cycling members dropping by this area or on the move during this time?

Will update a blog once we have gotten one. cheers!

Over several different trips I have cycled most of Malaysia's roads and would recommend this country for touring.  Goodish accommodation, good food, great people.  Very interesting culturally - worlds oldest rain forest.  It has everything.  Try even following the railway line through the middle, tough but very different.

Do you get the idea I love the place.  Could go on for ever, have fun.
