Off southern tier in LA

My wife and I plan to leave the southern tier in LA to meet some friends in Mandeville. Any advise on a route? Our blog is www.thesparetire.tumblr.com

Thanks for that link, Jenn, I downloaded it myself. I don't suppose you know of any more for Goergia, Mississippi, Alabama and/or Texas, do you? :)

Find all the states' government resources and dozens to hundreds more in the Cyclists' Yellow Pages, linked on the ACA home page. The list is very large, best searched by state in the Resources category.
