Lucky for Robenne, he gets to ride some in Europe. I do agree with him on the drivers in the Tampa area. "Some of the worse!" Not only will they hit you but they will throw hot coffee on you too. When hit by a car, the police officer told me, I had no business riding a bicycle, on the road. It is for cars and trucks.* We have a very high number of bicycle deaths. However, growing up in Upstate New York, I would venture to say, most folks, in the snow belt, would take rainy, 60 degree weather, this time of year. Reading the article, in ACO Magazine about the couple riding from West Palm to Key West, I still say come to Florida. *I wonder what our police chief would have thought of that comment since she is an avid cyclist.  ::)

Why wait, get a head start, come to Florida and bring your bikes!!! After growing up in Western New York, Tampa is way better, this time of year.

We'll be down there Thursday, the 17th. We're starting in the Dunnellon area and making our way down to Tampa/St Pete. Bringing the MTBs, too. Woot!
