Atlantic Coast Route Changes?

I am planning a trip from Albany NY to Washington DC, mostly on the Atlantic Coast Route.  I have some old ACA-ACR maps that I am planning on using but am a little concerned about major route changes such as bridge closures.  I know that there is a new pedestrian bridge across the Hudson at Pughkeepsee that I am planning to take and a new rail trail here and there.  I can't seem to find online any changes to the route that would cause me woe. Do you know of any?

The route from New Hope, PA to Conshocken might be different depending on the age of your map.  I suggested a route a while back and I think it was adopted. (Judging from the addenda, it appears that it was.)  If it was, I just did it Sunday and it is all open.

Thanks for the info.  I checked my maps which I thought were 5 years old.  They are over 10 years old! So I just bought new ones today.

You need to check the addendums on the ACA map site.  All kinds of changes get posted so you may  not need to get new maps

Probably a good move! There have been changes in the northern half especially.

In regards to addenda and changes to the route: We don't always post the details of route changes unless it is a critical safety issue or a permanent detour due to a bridge/road closure and the like. Even though your maps will be new, they will likely come with an addenda sheet. You will also want to check it against what is online before you leave. We add to the addenda on a regular basis so what was available the day you purchased your map is only accurate up to that date. You were working with Carla on this, right? I believe most - if not all - of your suggestions were incorporated.

Well it seemed a little silly to carry all the addenda for 2 map pages going back to 2001. (I didn't see any earlier addenda.) So no harm in buying some new maps.  I will check for addenda just before I leave.

I also plan on calling the campgrounds to see if they are open.  Otherwise I might just find a "CLOSED FOR THE SEASON" sign.
