Alaska to Argentina

Any place I can get a map system to ride that route? I'm going to leave the Northern part of Alaska and ride to the Most Southern part of South America. I plan on starting around July 1, 2012.
It's better to try and fail then not trying at all.

You will have to go around the Darien Gap in southern Panama.  There are no roads plus there are a lot of bandits hanging around in the jungle.

Fonzie -

The Milepost will detail your options through Alaska and British Columbia down to Vancouver.  I can't help you beyond that portion.  There are not alot of options anyway unless you consider a ferry from Haines, AK own to Prince Rupert or Vancouver.   If you ride the entire way, the Alaskan Highway to Watson Lake and then along the Cassiar Highway to Yellowhead Highway is a scenic ride.

Good Luck - you have a good adventure in store.

I met Jens who is doing this very ride in January in California. You may wish to follow his blog or get in touch http://velomerica.de/bilder
