Background:  In the summer of 2009, I built this custom touring bike from personally selected components with a several-month cross-country grand tour in mind for the spring of 2010.  It cost a total of $4000+ but I knew I had an ultra-reliable bike for My Grand Tour.  Unfortunately fate threw a dog under my front wheel in March of 2010 (different bike).  After ten days in the hospital and some titanium internal bracing, I spent three months in a wheelchair and another six months learning how to ride again which pretty much blew the rest of 2010.  In trying to train this year, I have come to the realization that after 6+ decades of life I just don’t heal the way I used to and the probability of my doing any long distance touring is remote.  As a consequence I am selling my prize touring bike and move to a mount that is more appropriate for the shorter distances I am able to do now.  I am willing to sell the bike in its entirety or sell just the frame and wheels separately to use the remaining components to build the new steed.
These photos show details of the bike.

Pricing: The current price for a Co-Motion Nor’Wester Tour is $3376 (frameset $1695).  Add $700 for the S&S couplers, $360 for the Case, and $79 for the padding kit and it comes to a total of $4515 and that’s without the bombproof Phil Woods wheels!  (Or a total of $2834 for just the frame, S&S couplers, travel case, and padding kit)

PRICE:
Entire Bike, Travel Case and Padding Kit - $3400 for the above bicycle (minus pedals, saddle, and rack) including the travel case, shipped to you in the continental United States or $3100 for local pickup in Middle Tennessee.

Frame, Travel Case and Padding Kit - $2400 (I will include the brake and derailleur cable quick connects also)

Wheels: rear wheel:  Velocity Synergy Asymmetrical 36h rim/Phil Wood hub and front wheel: Velocity Synergy 32h rim /Phil Wood hub -- $650 (2 near-new Schwalbe Marathon 700 x 30c tires and tubes: add $50)
Keep the rubber side down,

I should also include my personal e-mail address for Dryden (Declan Ryan) is dryan@data.com.au
Please dont concern yourself with the international e-mail address, the transaction would be completed and shipping would be to California.
