quebec city to nyc via boston?
« on: April 10, 2011, 10:28:05 am »
Can someone recommend a good route to go from quebec city to boston and then on to nyc?

First part seems easy, just taking la route verte #1 or #4 to Sutton, Quebec and then across the border and taking the Missiquoi River Trail to St. Albans, Vermont.

By how to travel from St Albans to Boston?

And then, what is the best route from Boston to NYC?

Thanks!!!

Mark

This might help fill in the gaps:

I am sure you can search the site for trips between Boston & NYC.

My choice would be Route Verte 6 along the Chaudière River valley, hooking up with either US 201 or Maine 27 down to the coast and into Boston via the US 1 corridor or ACA Atlantic Coast Route. Maine 27 is really scenic as it goes through the Chain of Ponds area.
