Camelbak / Water Bladder

My brother-in-law tried to introduce me to a Camelback to no avail. I found it very difficult and fussy to use. Plus I find it hard to believe it isn't very difficult to keep clean. Looks like the perfect petri dish to me. Over 90% of my touring hydration is COLD Gatorade or water bought in convenience stores. My favorite trick is to buy two quarts of Gatorade for $3, drink one and toss the other one in my pannier. For long storeless stretches I toss bottles of water or Gatorade in my panniers.
