<insert 2-cents worth> Get the same number spokes front and back, if the proverbial excrement hits the gaseous circulator then you can swap (rims) front for back, and throw whatever you find cheap/local on the front til a proper repair is done <end rant>

P.S. I just started the EXACT same project this week ( Aug 8, 2011) . So far this is how far I've gotten...
