Shorts question

Ok all, silly question.  Are all bike shorts synthetic chamois now or do they still make real chamois in them? Old school vs new I guess.

I doubt anybody makes shorts with a real chamois.  If so, it would be very rare. And I would not want them.

Probably yes in the UK where there are so many sheep. Chamois requires special care. The synthetic kind is probably more comfortable, less expensive, and easier to take care of. I noticed they have superior wet weather gear in the UK. I suppose they need it there with all the rain. I cycled England, Scotland, and Wales in the drought summer of 1984 for about 70 days I think it was, and had only three days of light rain, but that was very unusual. I cycled it again another year, and the rain was so thick you could swim in it. If you want real chamois, IMO you sould look to the UK.

ON a recumbent, of course, the chamois is useless. I used to run nice swimming trunks but have recently gone to tri-sports swimming suits known in the States as "jammers." They look like bike shorts without the padding.
I play go. I use Macintosh. Of course I ride a recumbent
