Pacific Route 101 Between Leggett and Crescent City.....

Hi, I've been biking North' mostly on route 1. On my maps, I can't find a route around the freeway sections between Leggett and Crescent City. Can I legally ride 101 North from Leggett?    Thanks

Yes.  I just did on much of it southbound.

thanks, that's a relief. i got stopped by the highway patrol a couple of times riding on the freeway sections of route 1. it's not always obvious when you have to leave!

Oh BTW, the alternates were posted pretty well most places, or at least they were when going southbound.  There were also little yellow arrows on the road that seemed to point out the route listed in the Kirkendall and Spring book, but again I am not sure if they are there on the northbound side of the road.
