Looking for advice on a Cannondale Touring Bike. Don't laugh, I have ridden a Nashbar T6000 for nearly 25,000 miles and it is getting difficult to replace worn equipment. I don't want or need flash, just a bike that will not break the bank.

I had a Cannondale T1 years ago and it was a great bike. When I started riding again last year after about 18 years off the bike, I knew I wanted another touring bike an looked to Cannondale to see what their current offering was.  I was unable to find a touring specific model in the current line up and I am under the impression that they have left that part of the market. That being said I would not hesitate to buy a clean used T1 frame.

As Joe B noted, Cannondale seems to be out of the touring bike business but is there something that made you specify a Cannondale?  There are a lot of current touring bike makers, some big (Trek, Surly, etc.) and some not so big and the choice is pretty wide.
